We are actively seeking interns in the following areas:
Computer Science: We are seeking an intern who will help us transform our existing website into a dynamic, cutting edge website. This would be a virtual internship, meaning that the intern would not have to travel to Washington, DC to perform the job. Most interaction would be through Skype and e-mail. Ideally, two to three interns would collaborate on this project.
Political Science: We are seeking an intern who is familiar with the neutral fact-based research that is the norm in political science. We are especially interested in an intern who, in addition to being an excellent writer, has familiarity with using data and displaying that data in informative ways. The project would consist of researching several topic areas, assembling several fact databases, conducting analyses of the data and writing short descriptions of the findings. We are interested in someone who is comfortable researching both domestic (US) policy and international policy. This position would work closely with the Communication/Journalism intern to produce online articles for TheFactFile.com. This would be a virtual internship, meaning that the intern would not have to travel to Washington, DC to perform the job. Most interaction would be through Skype and e-mail.
Communications/Journalism: We are seeking an intern who is familiar with writing news and news oriented stories and investigative reporting using data. We are looking for someone who is able to rewrite descriptive prose in a more captivating way, and is comfortable researching and writing on both domestic (US) news and international news. This position would work closely with the Political Science intern to produce online articles for TheFactFile.com. This would be a virtual internship, meaning that the intern would not have to travel to Washington, DC to perform the job. Most interaction would be through Skype and e-mail.
